minat baru

saya ada minat baru
mendengar radio ikim.fm pada setiap hari selasa...
masanya? jam enam petang mungkin...
waktu2 ini adalah masa saya pulang dari kerja tiap2 petang.
pasang radio dalam kereta semasa dalam perjalanan pulang ke rumah.

apa dia?
sesi pendek bersama FAISAL TEHRANI...
membincangkan tentang alam penulisan
tentang watak2 dalam cerita;antagonis? protagonis?
tentang plot2 cerita... plot?antiplot?travelog?

seronok yang amat.
kerana mempelajari sesuatu yang baru.
sesuatu yang bukan dalam bidang saya
tapi saya suka
seronok dan teruja
setiap hari selasa

baru saya tahu,
betapa pentingnya pembinaan karakter dalam cerita...
jangan bina karakter atau watak yang mengelirukan..
contohnya,
seorang insan yang kelihatan warak tetapi mempunyai perangai buruk sebenarnya..
jangan, kerana apa?
kerana yang membacanya adalah remaja yang sedang membina karakternya sendiri,
tak usahlah kelirukan minda anak muda
mereka kan harapan bangsa

contoh lagi,
mahu bina watak hero?
ada kelebihannya yang tersindiri,
'special powers' lah katakan,
tapi ingat, janganlah letak sifat2 haiwan pula,
Allah dah angkat kita tinggi dari haiwan,
Allah dah kurniakan kita akal fikiran,
maka fikirlah.
wow, saya pun tak terfikir...
jadi,
mari berfikir..

nota kaki: maaf , BM tunggang terbalik. keputusan BM saya tak sebagus mana. :P

visiting the deads..

Salam aidiladha to all muslims...

its 7 in the morning when my dad and i went to "Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Kiara"... i like the idea of walking in the fresh air and surrounded by grassy greens all around us. Honestly, this is one of my fav place (in the morning of course, in the evening might be scary lah).. it is really a calm place and the most important is it reminds you of the life after death.
we were visiting Tok Wan. may he rest in peace. Al-fatihah buat arwah Tok Wan yg sentiasa dirindui. he likes to ride in my goldie myvi. Love to take him to breakfast at manjui when we were back in ipoh. oooooowh . . . i miss him...
.................

Daripada Ibnu Umar r.a. berkata, sabda Rasulullah s.a.w, ”Sesungguhnya hati ini berkarat seperti mana berkaratnya besi apabila terkena air, seorang sahabat bertanya, “bagaimana menghapuskan karat tersebut’? Jawab Nabi s.a.w., "banyakkan menyebut mati dan membaca al-Quran,". refered here

well, this is one of the places that you can do both at the same time right? read yasin or any surah from the quran and in the same time, remember about death and how near it is to us. kan kan kan?
...............

happy aidiladha to all . aidiladha is about remembering the story of Nabi Ismail and Nabi Ibrahim and the sacrifice. well people, apa yg yg anda telah korbankan?

p/s: i really love going to the "kubur" .. seriuosly, i really do.

Rupert of Hentzau

do you remember prisoner of zenda? yes, the one that we studied during our secondary school. i loooooooooooveeeee that story. i've been searching for the book Rupert of Hentzau which the sequel of prisoner of zenda. T_T i've been to all bookstores in the area... and there is none. sob3.. all i can do is reading through this website. i dislike doing so, not much of excitement reading-kissing the screen of the computer. so, anyone? nk bg bday pezen ke. boley la, bli kt amazon, then gimme. lol.
hj shan, if u are reading this, please2.. nak buku ni bah.. ^_^ hihi...

a bit about this story :

The story, as fresh and exciting today as it must have been when it was first published back in 1894, follows Rudolf Rassendyll, an Englishman who travels to the kingdom of Ruritania. There, he finds that he bears a striking resemblance to the king of that land. Though the king is a nice enough fellow, his half-brother “Black Michael” the Duke of Strelsau covets both his power and his beautiful bride-to-be, Princess Flavia. Further, the king has not yet been crowned. Since Black Michael is in many circles more popular than the new king, he concocts a diabolical scheme: he sends the hard-drinking king a bottle of drugged wine. If the populace believed that the king was too drunk to attend his own coronation, they would reject him and turn to Michael. The scheming duke would then be able to claim both the throne and Princess Flavia.

Fortunately, our hero Rudolph is there to save the kingdom: since he resembles the king, he can stand in for him during the coronation, and continue the masquerade until the true king can be re-installed. (Of course!) In the sort of scheme that is normally reserved for gamers after nine or ten hours of straight play, the true king is left to drool on himself in a cellar while Rudolph is rushed off to the coronation. Once installed, he just has to survive his stay without inviting disaster, which means fending off Black Michael and his lackeys, keeping Ruritania (from the highest minister to the lowest peasant) clueless, and courting Princess Flavia without things becoming, well, treasonous. more...
