do you remember prisoner of zenda? yes, the one that we studied during our secondary school. i loooooooooooveeeee that story. i've been searching for the book Rupert of Hentzau which the sequel of prisoner of zenda. T_T i've been to all bookstores in the area... and there is none. sob3.. all i can do is reading through this website. i dislike doing so, not much of excitement reading-kissing the screen of the computer. so, anyone? nk bg bday pezen ke. boley la, bli kt amazon, then gimme. lol.

a bit about this story :

The story, as fresh and exciting today as it must have been when it was first published back in 1894, follows Rudolf Rassendyll, an Englishman who travels to the kingdom of Ruritania. There, he finds that he bears a striking resemblance to the king of that land. Though the king is a nice enough fellow, his half-brother “Black Michael” the Duke of Strelsau covets both his power and his beautiful bride-to-be, Princess Flavia. Further, the king has not yet been crowned. Since Black Michael is in many circles more popular than the new king, he concocts a diabolical scheme: he sends the hard-drinking king a bottle of drugged wine. If the populace believed that the king was too drunk to attend his own coronation, they would reject him and turn to Michael. The scheming duke would then be able to claim both the throne and Princess Flavia.

Fortunately, our hero Rudolph is there to save the kingdom: since he resembles the king, he can stand in for him during the coronation, and continue the masquerade until the true king can be re-installed. (Of course!) In the sort of scheme that is normally reserved for gamers after nine or ten hours of straight play, the true king is left to drool on himself in a cellar while Rudolph is rushed off to the coronation. Once installed, he just has to survive his stay without inviting disaster, which means fending off Black Michael and his lackeys, keeping Ruritania (from the highest minister to the lowest peasant) clueless, and courting Princess Flavia without things becoming, well, treasonous. more...

train + 5 year old

On saturday morning.I was on a train , sitting beside a 5 year old girl, sofia is her name.I switch places with her cuz i can see at that time that she loves to watch outside..the scenery.she is so cute. I tried to be friendly with her, so i chit chat a little about kids stuff. playing teka teki n stuff. then i asked her to guess my age:

• first guess : 15 <-- LoL...
• second guess : 14 <-- what? getting younger than ever?

so i stopped there.. give her a few more chances to guess and ill end-up being in the same school as she is in next year. LoL.. kids.. ^_^ they are just so adorable. arent they?

dead cat on the road + kaki blue

have you ever bump into a cat lying dead.. in the middle of the road? and wonder:

• aiya... so disgusting.. cant look at it.
• who did this?
• pity the cat....
  
• what the hell hit it till its brain scatterd all over the road?
• why didn't anybody put it aside when it is still in one piece?
• whos job is it anyway to clean this up?

stop asking.. and do it. just do it(lyk nike) ... whats the harm? well, thanks to herne, ema and i will b spending the night thinking about the dead cat we just moved off from the busy road.
there were only three of us in the car, heading to mcd. we were almost there when all of the sudden we saw the cat, lying in the middle of the road. herne didnt hesitate, just as we park our car, she took some paper and plastic in the backseat and went straight to it. herne try to pick it up and i was holding the plastic bag wide open for her. Ema did a great job by informing every car which slowed down to watch us, "tade ape..kucing mati , kucing mati.. tade ape.. jalan .. jalan".. and yeah, not to forget the two guys who helped us when the cats head was about to fall of the plastic bag. good job people!
kaki blue? yeah.. thats the reason we were all out together that time.. it was herne's second theater show(too bad i missed the first theater T_T) .. the theater is really interesting.. its about NS.. the only bad thing about is.. herne is not the main character.. but she did her part very well in the show. she is full of energy when it comes to dancing and singing. she loves it. i knew it. just look how she enjoys doing it. its her thing~ :)
